Social responsibility means really taking into account your actions on a global scale in terms of how what you are doing may affect those across the globe. We strongly believe in supporting local tour operators and indigenous companies in general. We hold our clients accountable for leaving no sort of footprint behind, be it literally a carbon footprint or simply a negative cross-cultural impression. We are also environmentally responsible as a business, and we encourage travelers to volunteer while traveling whenever possible.
Furthermore, we will be promoting trips in the near future that give back to the communities where they take place. For example, a trip to South Africa might give 5% of the price back to a local township there that needs money to construct a water tank system. We are in the process of researching these ideas and would be happy for your input!
